Hi, my name is kennett72! Benefits and child in further education

ime unsure what to do. Need some advice.
my daughter started college , last term.
we are on benefit so the college , does give us the right to claim extended , payment, for further education.
So, we have moved to a different area. 100 miles away.we did inform the college she was at. They said oh it’s easy you just switch over, or commute. Lots of others do it.
Anyway we have moved, and the college cannot give her a place until next term in September, start again.
How do I tell the benefits, or do I need too.
Ime worried because things are tight.dont want to lose the money.
How can I keep her in further education. !!?
feeling hopeless, just feel we were given the wrong info.
thanks. Hope someone might have had the same thing happen. !! And know how to keep it right.

If she's no longer in full time education then you must report the changes to UC and the child element for her will stop. How old is your daughter?
That's very strange advice you were given by her former college, to expect her to commute 100 miles.

Hi @kennett72 and welcome to the community. As Poppy has said, you will need to report the changes.
I'm not entirely sure how this affects benefits, but would she be able to do an online course?
