Is this ESA letter right?

Do you have any idea how long you was placed in this group for

Yes, it's correct because as has been advised, it's a standard letter that's sent to everyone claiming New style ESA for the first time. Although they haven't specifically claimed it their self, their contributions based ESA is reverting to New style ESA. They won't need to attend an appointment and the ESA commitments will be done through a phone call.

Hi Holly.
I don't suppose you know do you, the ESA commitments you mentioned, what are these commitments?
Is it a commitment to work later if I'm better physically etc?
I'll obviously agree to everything, I'm just wondering what everything is..…thank you.
David.

The commitments for ESA will be the same as they are now and the same for UC. You will need to agree to report all changes. It's nothing related to working or looking for work.

Ahhh i see....
Of course we get worried, because for example.y letter states my letter is setting me up with a meeting with a work coach to "help you orepare to look for work in the future".
It just sounded like something different. It does say it's a claimant commitment letter tho to be honest.
Again thank you. It is all massively appreciated.
David.

You're very welcome. Yes, the reason it says that is because it's a standard letter and applies only to those that are have claimed New style ESA for the first time (without moving from other benefits, like yourself) Those standard letters are very confusing and worry a lot of people.
