Hi i claim u.c. this includes my partner and 3 children. I also recieve pip, standard rate daily living, enhanced mobility. I also recieve housing benefit which is paid directly to land lord.
So my question is my son 23, and his family 3 children and girlfriend have just recently moved in with us due to having to flee their home and give it up. My son works full time and his girlfriend gets the top up with u.c. how will this affect my benefits/ housing benefit. I don't have spare room so I'm now overcrowded, this is temporary until they find somewhere else to live.
Much help would be appreciated.

You are receiving Housing Element under Universal Credit.
As you get Daily Living PIP, you are exempt from non dependant deductions from Housing Element.
I'd still advise you inform UC of them moving in, to cover all bases.
As to your personal UC, this would not be effected as although you now live together, you are considered separate households in benefit terms.
PIP is paid for your health needs, regardless of who lives with you.
