It makes sense to me but how do I get diagnosed

I've had five months of EDMR Therapy for Complex PTSD then seven months later just three weeks into my CBT Therapy for severe anxiety & moderate depression and issues with self compassion and self validation with a trained psychotherapist former nurse who is also nuerodiverse with diagnosed female autistic lady. She is absolutely brilliant but she has noticed patterns in me that she believes are quite a few traits of female autism. I have since done a primarily guideline NHS autism test for female autism. I scored 36 out of 50. The threshold was 32. What do I do now to be properly diagnosed?

You'll need a referral for assessment from your GP - well done for getting this far!
The National Autistic Society (NAS) will send you leaflets and guides to the diagnostic process for women, again all free.

Oh, wonderful. Thank you very much.

In my experience, at my own NHS Trust, this is where a GP would then refer you to the local clinic for diagnosis. As WhatThe mentioned 🙂 You will need to contact the GP, if they don't have the notes of your preliminary test they may want to see the results themselves before passing on the referral.
