Assisted living

Hello. About two years ago I asked about help with housing but was repeatedly ignored by the council. Slowly my support system has been taken away. I've not had a social worker for two years. I'm really struggling. And need to find a place that will be easy to live in for mobility but also support. I'm under 50 I looked online and can't seem to qualify for assisted living. I don't have addictions or mental health diagnosis. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I'd like a fully contained flat in a safe secure building. I wouldn't be looking right now for nurses on site. I just don't know how this all works and who to ask. I have no family I can live with. Thank you

Hi,
Do you have an online account with your local council and/or housing association?
Those are the places that offer sheltered accommodation for people who don't need daily care.
I haven't found any service to physically and practically help with housing so far. They all just say to keep checking the websites and make a 'bid' on any property that's suitable.

You could try local welfare rights
They deal with more issues than just benefit claims, if they can't help themselves then usually they know other local sources who can.

Hi thank you. That's what I've found. I seem to regularly fall through the cracks due to age or to what brackets there are. My conditions don't fit a box even though I'm terminal and struggling in every way. I'll have a look and see. Thank you πΈπ€
