Crime

I think over the last few years I particularly because of the cost of living, the levels of crime have shot through the roof.Every day I am hearing of bikes and mobile phones getting stolen and it appears by young people whom should be in school.Because of the scale of this type of crime the statistics of people whom actually get their goods back is probably quite low I imagine. But the impact to their mental health could be lifelong. The chain of events that lead to the actual crime probably involve many people but it's endless.

I think the parents are to blame as much as the kid, awful parents who don't know how to parent, so their kids let loose and do whatever like without any consquences. These kids who steal and make people's lives a misery, usually have no discipline or structure or routine to their life.
These kids wont be scared by the police either.

Yes I agree. There are even a couple ( although very rare) on these electric bikes. The parents must know they are riding around on these and are not in school for what ever reason. And if they don't,then why.Its parents of these types of children who blame schools for their children's behaviour

I think particularly now we hear a lot more crime than we used to be because of a few thing the internet, and social media, whereas in the past wed only hear the major crimes through the newspapers or the news

I would have to disagree slightly only to the point in that although there has obviously always been crime.I think the scales it is on now is much larger because of such divides between rich and poor. The type of influencers we've seen on social media over recent years like Andrew Tate for eg who cam mold young minds.Years ago there were always influential people both positive and negative role models but not as easily accessible like of today which can drive sales and unfortunately have the knock on effect of crime
