Declined LCW, how do I find out my score?

I was today turned down for LCW, and I was wondering how I find out how many points I got and how I apply for an MR?
Also I’m self employed and have been working for the past 10 months doing 10 hours a week, does this now mean my minimum income floor will go up?
sorry for so many questions in one post, I have been as genuine as possible with them and I can work some hours but jo way on this earth can I work full time, being self employed means if I’m having a bad day I can take the day off, this could financially screw my family over!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you all so much

You can ask UC to send you the assessment report and this will tell you what the recommendations were. It will also tell you if any of the descriptors applied for LCW and what points may have been recommended.
Regarding the Minimum Income Floor. I see from a previous thread that your daughter was awarded DLA back in June. If you're claiming carers element for looking after your daughter then you have no work commitments so the MIF will not apply to you.
If you're not claiming carers element for your daughter then I'd advise you to do that, unless a partner you maybe claiming UC with is claiming this for looking after you and then you will not be able to claim.
For the MR request you can do that on your journal and you'll need to state which descriptor you think applies and your reasons why. Please note that for the LCWRA element then you only need one descriptor to apply.

thanks you @poppy123456 in a really sticky situation, I’m the wife and my hubby is the carer for our daughter.
I’m just concerned that my minimum income floor will go up to 35 hours or whatever it is.
Will an MR delay this?Or could my work coach agree to lower hours?
thank you again your an angel x

Then if you're gainfully self employed the MIF will apply after 12 months and it will be whatever your work coach sets it as.
Does your husband work? Or do either of you claim a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care?

my husband is the carer and I work lower hours due to my health conditions neither claim any disability benefits, this is just the way it works for us, as there are days when I can’t do anything which is why I can’t be the full time caret

could my work coach gree to less hours still or are my health conditions just disregarded now?

They can still agree to less.

You're very welcome. Have you looked at the descriptors for LCWRA? If not then you can see them here.
If you think at least one of those apply then I would base your MR request on that, with the reasons why you think it applies to you.

Hey @tigerstar, I'm sorry to hear you were turned down for LCW. Poppy has given some great advice already on your options here. I will just add that you can also read more on our advice pages as well: Appealing a benefits decision | Disability charity Scope UK
