Need advice about what we can do next

Hi. Desperate need of advice please.
so went to a tribunal and later received a letter to say it had been granted and that they felt he should be awarded middle rate care.
3 days later I received another later with an additional section saying that the decision was amended and no care rate for dla was granted.
why on earth have judges and doctors grant it to them take it away. My son has Nf1. Optic glioma adhd and other medical issues.
I feel like they looked at what it would be back dated too and don’t want to pay rather than seeing a little bit that has lots of struggles and health issues. Am so deflated and gutted. Is this right.
what should I do next. Any advice would be very much appreciated
Thanks all

Difficult to advise without seeing both letters. I'd advise you to take both letters and get some expert advice from an advice agency near you.

Hi @Trotties101, I'm sorry to hear the tribunal result wasn't what you hoped. Does the second letter give the reasoning behind the amended decision?
I would also agree with Poppy that this is a stage you really do need expert advice and should seek a specific benefits adviser. We have an advice page here: Appeal to the Upper Tribunal | Disability charity Scope UK
