Just reread my husbands PIP assesment scores post coma several weeks later

Hi, my hubby was in a near fatal motorbike accident back in May and in a coma for just over four weeks with multiple injuries. Throughout all the trauma and thanks to the fab people on here, I got through the PIP process as his appointee and he was awarded enhanced and enhanced for two years. I have just looked for the first time at the points he scored and absolutely astounded that he didn’t score any points for not being able to socialise with anyone, or for making budgeting decisions, mixing with other people , reading or communicating and being able plan and follow the route of a journey ( he was housebound then and still cannot drive or walk far!!!). He scored 15 on daily and 12 on Motability.
At the time of his assesment, he was only out of hospital for a short time and at the start of his very long road to rehabilitation.
As it stands now, three months after being on PIP, he cannot mix with other people, cannot make budgeting decisions and definitely not good with communicating.
My concern is that his review will be next August (I was told a year before it’s due to run out) and he still has a very long way to go, but will they put a negative spin on it if I suddenly bring this all up on the review ?
Do I need to tell PIP this and if so , do I call or write to them? Many thanks

As he's on enhanced for both it wouldn't make any difference but it could trigger a review now if you do. He may or may not improve or get worse by then, conditions change and it shouldn't matter to his review.

Thank you so much. I won’t get in touch with then. Really appreciate you getting back so quickly @Meredithshep .
To be honest, seeing his scores, bearing in mind, he’s got a very long road to recovery , I’m not holding out for me getting anything for PTSD which was caused by the accident . But it is what it is . Thanks again

Hi @Loumc48. As meredith said, it could trigger a review if you contact them and your husband may be awarded differently, so it's best to wait until his current award ends. When it comes to review time, treat it as a new claim and explain all of his difficulties at that time.
I hope that therapy works well for you. We're always here to offer support too 😊
