when I first claimed Universal credit i was not informed about 9 months previous earnings, they are now asking for 12 months previous earnings, in this time i was either slit from my partner or going through a split, i am so stressed by the behaviour and attitude towards my. I don't know how to manage this.

Hi @Bacon so sorry you've not had a response yet. How are things? Have things progressed anymore with Universal Credit. I hope you're doing ok.

The reason they ask this is related to the benefit cap. If you're excluded from that then it makes no difference what your earnings were during that period.
