GP services - I feel the need to rant

My current GP is an amalgamation of 5 surgeries.
While I understand the move to digitising services, it saves money, makes someone else money. Its near impossible to make an appointment.
The digital booking only allows for blood pressure checks, the phone service, IF you can get through, is between 30 to 50 in the queue. Or if your lucky you can request a receptionist callback.
The latest is an American AI female voice (why??) answering the phone then directing you to the new Health Co Pilot (all this is supposedly 'in line with new government guidelines') plus a new private data handling company that deals with data/appointments etc
Its a massive concern in that how the heck are people, especially those with long term or more complex medical needs get seen in time.
I know this has to be part legacy from near 20 years of bad government but how did we get here!

Have you contacted the NHS or MP about the incorrect operation of digital booking systems? My opinion is that all the nuances of the operation of these systems should be regulated by the government.

I may well go to my MP & local press..
The latter is usually far more effective. My local MP (con) will most likely quote 'current gov guidelines) back at me. But they do at least then have to log it.0
