Hi, my name is Safftaff! refused the m&m leap award from pip
HI, i have just been refused the m&m leap award from pip and was extremely upset that the reasons that the assessor gave was from my 2017 assessment and were untrue but only on the daily living section, i was a total mess as it had only been just over a year after losing my partner of 30yrs but i did notice that the assessor stopped writing on her iPad when discussing my mental health problems, do you know anything about the m&m leap case?, I was also refused after mandatory reconsideration so I have asked for help from citizens advice but can you tell me if pip ever change their decision before it gets to tribunal?

Heya @Safftaff and welcome to the community.
Unfortunately I don't know a great deal about the MM leap award, hopefully another community member will be able to help?
As for your question regarding decisions being changed before tribunals, yes, the DWP sometimes do call to make an offer that's usually midway between your original decision and what they'd expect the tribunal to award you.0
