How many request a copy of medical assessment after the assessment ?

Hi @Dendoo - I did, but that was before I joined this forum. Just to stress, it's not a medical assessment, tho an assessment is conducted by a Health Care Professional (nurse, physio or paramedic usually).
It's also important to note that an assessor just gives a recommendation, so not only this report but the claim form is also taken into consideration by a decision maker.
On the forum we have found that getting the assessor's report can lead to some members being incredibly distressed & it can increase their anxiety, hence it's not always the best idea to request it.
If a decision isn't favourable, I'd stress that a claimant is disagreeing with their decision letter if they decide to do a Mandatory Reconsideration, so it's best to put an assessor's report behind you, unless there are one or 2 irrefutable errors.

hi thank
You for your reply . I
Don’t know all
The terminology but I’ve seen people talk about asking for the assessment report sorry I got mixed up
About this . I’m debating asking for mine but I think
It might cause distress if it turns out I’ve had one of those where it’s not what was discussed. However how do
You avoid seeing it if you get knocked back
And want to have it looked at it again ?

No problem 😊
You won't see the assessor's report unless you request it to be posted out to you.
Important to remember that an assessor is not there to write down what you say word for word, as they rather form their own opinion based on what has been said. If you go for a Mandatory Reconsideration, another decision maker will look at everything again (your claim form, any evidence sent & the assessor's report).
