WCA Telephone appointment next week, what should I expect?
Hello,
So I called last week to see how my UC50 is progressing (I hadn't heard anything for ages and I was terrified it got lost) they received it on 12/10/24 (10 days after I posted it) and they made a WCA telephone appointment for me for next week (26/11/24). I don't really know what to expect, would it be like a PIP assessment where they ask me how my conditions effect me on a daily basis etc? I'm really nervous, anxious and scared about it and it's getting worse the closer it gets.
If anyone can give me some answers I'd appreciate it.

It's good to hear there's progress with your application @PeachyAna90 I'd try not to worry about the WCA, it's fairly similar to a PIP assessment, but it's focused on just work, so it tends to be a lot less stressful. Mine was over in about 40 minutes. Will you let us know how you get on please?

Update:
The appointment went well, even though they accidentally hung up on me half way through but they did call back. I was nervous AF and hardly slept.
Fingers crossed for the LCWRA outcome!

Got LCWRA!

That’s great news. Does your UC include any Transitional Protection? If it does and it’s more than £416.19/month you will not be better off.
