Advice please
Hi. I am newly diagnosed with autism age 42, I’m on long term sick from my job which isn’t suitable for me anymore as I work with people. I have been offered a new job today which doesn’t involve working in an office and only working with one person at a time, although the employer is asking for a reference from my current employer. I don’t know what to do, as the new job requires an enhanced dbs which could take weeks this time of year. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Heya @Sar03 and welcome to the community. 😊
The new job offer sounds great. My DBS check took around 10 days to complete, so I'd try not to worry too much there. If the job sounds like something you can do with less stress on you, then I'd say go for it. 😊
