@mandyletts - I'm not able to advise but have just read this thread for the first time and cannot believe how awful that work coach of yours is - what a jobsworth!!!
I had a very intimidating meeting almost 5yrs ago now at the jobcentre and i can totally understand how you have been ground down by this bully - no one can live on less than £300/month. It's ridiculous.
Stick around on here and get the advice you need to get this all sorted.
All the very best to you and your family xx

Mandyletts I'm so sorry I can't advise but read the whole thread from November. Firstly, my heartfelt thoughts to you at being in hospital and your family situation, its heartbreaking. I've only just started coming on here and whilst I know of major issues with DWP/Jobcentre etc I could have wept for what you've gone through. My blood is boiling at the ineptitude and terrible attitudes that you've had to deal with. It is cruel and seems to me nothing less than gross negligence. You'll get help on here I've no doubt. Thinking of you ❤️.

This is staggering, how is it possible for a work coach to step so far out of line?
I would get on to my local councillor ASAP, as well as local newspapers.

thank you all its been very hard, I just want a quiet life and to make the most of the time I have left with her but it's hard. I'm sort of grateful we're in hospital at the moment because at least it is warm and we're getting 3 meals a day, but can't even afford the bus home to wash our clothes or pick up more bits
usually how long do mandatorys take?

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing so many problems with your benefits. What issues are you having with the DLA and PIP?

Its okay poppy you already helped me on a different post and its correct they stopped our pip and dla because being in hospital, i hoped it was wrong as it just sucks so much

I don't know if you missed my comment on your other thread this morning but I asked if your daughter was under the age of 18? if she is then her DLA should not stop when she's in hospital. Please see my full comment on your thread here.
