Do I still send this letter to DWP?
hi I had my pip phone assessment was an hour long and was exhausted she said I had to send a letter from my oncologist which was done after my claim but in the mean time I’ve had a txt saying do not contact pip report received and will hear up to 8 weeks ..I’m confused do I still send this letter to dwp

Hi,
You can still send that letter if you feel it is needed as evidence. Though it may not get through quickly enough before the decision maker looks at the report.
The letter says not to contact them because the phone lines get clogged up with people asking whether their decision has been made or not. That makes it difficult for people with more urgent PIP queries to get through. However there is nothing actually stopping you sending post or calling where you feel it is necessary.
