Pantomimes, yay or nay?

It's Pantomime season! (Oh no, it's not... Oh, yes it is! 😅)
I'm heading to our local theatre with the family to watch a Pantomime this evening, and I was wondering what everyone thinks about them?
Personally, I can take it or leave it, but going each December has become a bit of a tradition for us, so I just sit back and enjoy some snacks.
Anyone else planning to see a Pantomime this year?

I don't like places where it's too loud. Plus, because having cerebral palsy means i have a startle reflex, so i'm self conscious of being somewhere like a theatre and something happening to make me jump, as people make comments.

I love pantos & the theatre in general, went last year but not going this. Used to regularly go to the theatre, the cost now is not in my price range. Many moons ago, I was in a local theatrical company & we did a panto every year, it was such great fun. I wouldn't dream of doing it now.

I haven't been to a pantomime in ages but I love them I used to go a lot more before COVID and as I have finished education and my brothers and sisters have got older we haven't gone

Been a long time since I went, I'm not sure if they are a bit dated now for kids

I thought that might be the case @Sandy_123, but it was packed full of kids (and adults!) of all ages which was nice.

I'm not great around large groups of people sitting down, but I'm definitely a fan of snacks.
