Do you always get a written pip report

I'm interested to know do you always get a written pip report. If you get declined. Can you do a mandatory reconsideration immediately and does having d.l.a in the past go in a person's favour?.

What I mean is,do they always post out your report from the assessor

No. They never send a report unless you call to request it.

If transferring from DLA to PIP when you ring to start your claim you can ask for the information from DLA to be taken into consideration.
If you have to go down the MR route, you don't need the assessment report to request the MR. All requests should be put in writing, rather than ring to request.

Thank you all very useful information.I am not transferring from Dla but used to have it before. My thoughts were if they decline me I can just point out that I have so many more diagnosis since my last claim was actually approved and so am even more affected etc.

Apparently if you are awarded you receive a text and if not just a letter?

You usually get a text if awarded, but not always.

Yes that's what seems to be the pattern I'm seeing.Generally the people who have been awarded receive a text notification then a letter with their award.

I didn't get a text when I was awarded PIP, so it's not always a given.

Ok so I won't keep text watching then.🤣
