I have been on sick notes since 02/08/24 filled out UC50 and returned it. I report sick notes on journal I saw a points score for lcwra online and I got more than the 15 points it said I needed but I still haven't heard anything back. Government website says after 3 month period I will start getting paid aswell as back pay to the start of my first sick note But I have heard nothing . I put on my journal that I haven't heard anything and I haven't had a reply to that . I get my reminder that my sick note will expire in 1 week and to renew it and I do this but hear nothing from anyone about what's going on. Getting desperate now.

Sometimes it takes longer than 3 months for them to make a decision. Most people have an assessment before a decision is made.

If found to have LCWRA there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time. The extra money is then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note, with first payment being the end of that month. It's not paid at all during this waiting period.

Based on the information you gave your first payment would be either Dec or Jan. If a decision takes longer than this you will receive any money that's owed.

For LCWRA it's just one descriptor that needs to apply, or substantial risk.

Unfortunately the online points scorers are irrelevant, you need to have gone through the full WCA process including an assessment and an outcome letter on your Journal.

Until you are formally found to have LCWRA following a WCA, no payments will be made either with your monthly UC award or separate backpay (if applicable).

DWP won't be able to update you at this point via Journal as you are under the assessment provider. They will be awaiting the outcome of WCA before they make a decision on your claim.

You can contact them yourself and ask for an update.
