Only 11 months left on PIP, need 12 to tax, any help?

hi, can anyone advise me please, just changed my car but have only 11 months left on my pip and need 12 months to tax at post office , been on hold to dwp for 40 mins then got cut off after 2 mins talking and no call back. thanks for any help
