Advice please 🙏

First off I'm new to this site and a little unsure how it works so apologies in advance.
I recently migrated to uc from esa and recently my 18yr old went into full time education at university. She cares for me , cooks , drives me to appointments etc. Well anyway , someone happened to ask if she gets the carers payment , I didn't know what it was but have since had a look online and well tbh I still have no idea ! Would her claiming this reduce my uc ?
Thanks in advance guys x

As a full time student she will not be able to claim carers allowance for looking after you.
Someone else can claim it for looking after you providing you claim a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/rate care. If the qualifying criteria applies to them. Or they can claim carer element of UC.

You didn’t mention you live in Scotland. It’s important to give all the information because otherwise incorrect advice could be given.
more information here. Many students work so if she does then there’s a maximum earnings limit of £151/week.
