Santa's List Day! Who's on your nice list this year?
Yesterday was Santa's List Day! Yes folks, there's even a day for list making!
Santa's List Day is on December 4 every year.
It's the day when Santa puts together his list of naughty or nice children. The ones on the nice list receive toys, candy, and other presents on Christmas Eve. So if your children think they can just be good for the next two weeks and hope for gifts, oh how wrong they are. ๐
So, to make things a bit more fun around here, I thought we could do a nice list. So we'd love to hear about people you think really deserve a nice visit from Santa this year. It can be anyone at all, someone in your life (try not to use actual names for safety reasons please), a celebrity, or even a pet!
I'll go first. I'd put my sister on there, as she always goes above and beyond when supporting me with my various illnesses. She's a bit of a legend. I think Santa should bring her a huge bird house, so she can keep all of her bird friends safe and warm. Maybe a pigeon jumper too. ๐
Now over to you and remember, this is nice only, I think we all should try and forget about the naughty people for a bit. ๐

I'm going for a twofer!
First, Alison at the JobCentre Plus that I was called in to see today. Like most, my head & stomach were wobbly at the thought. She was smashing though & straightaway said this is not for job search or anything to do with that. Instead, it was, we have badly treated you as we have not been in touch for months to see if you're okay & we should have been, accept my sincerest apologies. ๐ฎ We had a chat & she asked if I had any questions, which I did. She's going to get the answers for me & I will get a 3 monthly general call to make sure I'm ok, that I don't have to answer if I'm ill or otherwise engaged. A bit of a shock! Anyway, she really was totally different to her colleagues I've dealt with in the past.
Also, the super lady bus driver on my journey home. So friendly to all her passengers & I didn't realise she was behind me, but she saw the wheels were a bit slidey as it was pouring down & helped me get sorted. Then, a kid 4/5 yrs old was having a meltdown & the mum didn't know what to do with him. He was still screaming as they got off. She called out to him & said he'd forgotten his tickets, she gave him a load & off he went & smiled back at her, silence. The mum will be wishing her a merry Christmas too.

Those are some lovely stories @JessieJ thanks for sharing!
I'd put my mum on the nice list. She's been nursing sick wild hedgehogs back to health all year and I just think that's adorable ๐ She has to give them little sponge baths and massage them with oil to get rid of their crusty bits. Wholesome lady!
