If i move back in with my parents will this affect their benefits?

I am thinking of moving back in with my parents but i work full time.
They live in a council house and are both on disability. From what i know i think they get PIP and ESA.
If i move back in would this affect my parents benefits and would i be expected to pay towards the rent?
At the moment they have 2 spare bedrooms and are paying bedroom tax on these.
Would appreciate any help towards this as i think my mom is worried about whether it will affected her too much.

It wouldn't affect PIP or ESA, but would Housing Benefit. You would be expected to pay towards the rent yes.
Bedroom Tax would be reduced to one bedroom, but a non dependant deduction would be applied to their HB.
Perhaps Mum would be less worried if she knew you'd make up the difference between the two?

If either of the parents receive either PIP/ADP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care or AA then there would be no non dependant deductions in their housing benefit. Please see the link you posted.
You need to check exactly what benefits they are claiming. As I mentioned above there would be no non dependant deductions for HB if either of them receive a qualifying disability benefit.
You also need to check what exactly is included with their ESA. If it includes Severe disability Premium and you don't receive a qualifying disability benefit or you're not registered blind they would lose that SDP, which will significantly reduce their ESA entitlement.

Poppy you are quite correct, thank you for picking up on my mistake 😊

You're welcome. Sometimes advising so many people in a day does get to you eventually. Sometimes my head hurts, I've made many mistakes in the past for this reason.
