Housing benefit and council tax

hi I am new here. I am in receipt of PIPand housing benefit and council tax
If my grandson who is 18 moves in with me. He is in receipt of advance PIP for both care and mobility. He also works
Will I lose my housing benefit and council tax which the council tax is paid in full

If your PIP includes the daily living part there will be no non dependant deductions for housing benefit. See link.
If there’s a shortfall of rent then you’ll be entitled to an extra bedroom for him.
If you’re claiming single person discount for council tax you will lose that. For council tax reduction I can’t advise on that because all local Authorities have their own rules.
You must report the changes for both benefits.

If you receive Daily Living PIP then no deductions will be made to your Housing Benefit.
Council Tax Reduction is hard to advise on here, as each local authority has different rules.
You will lose the single person Council Tax Discount, if you currently live alone.
