Hi, my name is dally867!
I have been diagnosed as dissociative disorder f44.9 unspecified for 6 months now and finding it hard to talk to friends and family about dissociation. I have found a great therapist who is the only person I can talk to about what I am going through. I find dissociation very isolating as most people cannot understand what it feels like to live in a daydream.

Hi @dally867, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear that you're finding people don't understand your dissociation. It can be really tough feeling so isolated from others. I hope the community can provide some comfort and support if you need any 😊
I'm really glad to hear you've found a good therapist, they can help make all the difference. Could they perhaps help you find some strategies to talk to your family about what you're going through?
Hope you'll enjoy your time on the community
