HI I receive DLA and guaranteed pension credit will my housing benefit be effected if my son who works returns home

    Is your DLA for the care component? Or if actually PIP, Daily Living?

    HI my dla care,but what about my guaranteed pension credit all very confusing

    As your DLA is care component, then no non dependant deductions will be made to your Housing Benefit. So no effect on it.

    If you currently live alone then you will lose Single Person Council Tax Discount.

    I don't think Pension Credit is effected, but I'm not 100% sure. The change should be reported to them anyway.
