hello,

I am moving into a flat tomorrow and need to add housing costs for the first time, I get paid this Friday the 13th but I need to pay hostel charges and prior debts.

Which means I won’t be able to buy a bed or washing machine, would I be able to get a coc advance even though I have a budgeting advance I’m paying back still? And does my housing costs need to be verified first before I can apply?

CoC advance is not affected by a budgeting advance. Yes, you would need to have housing costs verified before they agree to the CoC advance.

I'm afraid I can't answer that question.

I'd advise you to report the changes and then apply for the advance the following day. Your first payment for help with the rent will be your January payment.
