Hi
I'm wondering if anyone can help me sort something out, we are shuffling the roles with our family due to more than one person needing help.
I'm on income related ESA in the support group ( have been for years) my husband is on the claim (I believe it's a joint claim) he's been my carer for years.
Over the last few years his health has gone downhill and he is needing help himself and there are things he needs help with around the house ( ie housework) and the garden.
My son in law was going to start doing more care for my father in law ( but he'd lose his pension credits)
If my son in law added the care element for my husband on his UC would it affect our ESA?
I get enhanced pip both elements ongoing and he gets standard for both.
The ESA claim is in my name...
Any insight would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
