I’m Holly, and I’m a new community coordinator. I’m excited to be a part of the community and look forward to getting to know you.

A little bit about me!

I am obsessed with music, I’ve always got my headphones in! I’m a little bit of a hermit so when my ears need a rest from the headphones, I love to watch series and films! So if you’ve any suggestions, they’re always welcome here and if you need any suggestions, give me a nudge! 😊

I’m also trying to get back in to gaming a little more over the coming months. My brother is gifting me his old PlayStation for Christmas so I can get re-acquainted. I’ve mainly been an Xbox user, so this will be a big change. I hope there’s some gamers on here!

    Hey @Holly_Scope I'm Rick,welcome along, I'm obsessed with music also I run a radio station it's been on pause a while but it's going back on air within the next six weeks I'm trying to move it from a hobby alongside a couple of other things into a viable job,but finding sponsors and advertisers has been a pain in the backside,

    I have severe autism and require constant help so working options are extremely limited so I want to break off benefits and be independent.

    I'm a soap addict, Fascinated by the paranormal and true crime.

    I am a massive horror film fan and have literally hundreds of discs which are pictured on here in a few threads.

    I have a pug called Pippa she's my best friend.

    Hi @Nightcity! Thank you for the welcome! That sounds like a really cool job. I bet you can't wait to get back on air. You'll have to let me know how it is for you. I imagine it will be a big change with what you've said. Do you specialise in a certain music genre etc or do you play a bit of everything?

    I also love a true crime! I find the Netflix series that often pop up on the top 10 really good watches, often shocking though.

    1955-2015 mainly songs by huge artists that have got forgotten.

    I am hoping after a years pause all my DJs are happy to come back!

    It's just a hobby but yes it would be the dream to make it such a success it could become a viable source of income and a job, I am determined!

    @Nightcity sounds like a great range that will cover a large number of people's tastes! It's always good to have variety on the radio I think.

    I don't know you well, but just from our short exchange I can't imagine them not! You seem lovely, really positive, and passionate about what you do. I have no doubt you'll get where you want to!

    Please keep me updated though! I'd genuinely love to know how you're getting on with it. ☺️

    @durhamjaide2001 Thank you! Love it! I've always envied my friends who are good at these type of hobbies. I'm pretty much only able to successfully do the little jewel pictures, but I do enjoy them. πŸ˜…

    Hopefully I'll see some posts from you which will inspire me to improve and expand my abilities! Especially over the coming months as it'll be a lot colder so I won't be out as much as usual! πŸ˜€

    I enjoy reading & gardening (so am looking forward to Spring). I dog-sit for my son & his wife, & for my neighbour when they're all working. My cat, Shadow, is not too impressed with dogs taking over her house most days!
