Hi poppy hope your well I had a benefit check all OK anyways recieved letter today stating owe 509 as I had 6 thousand four hundred at time of assessment but 5 thousand 800 was payback from pip for change of law on March 20th 2024 I thought was disregard for a year ? So my council tax had stopped

Hello @Catherine21, was it definitely in March 2024 that you received the payment and did you let them know when you had the benefit check that part of it should be disregarded and why?

Yes 20th March 2024 yes printed out bank statement showing them pip payment and I wrote 5 800 payment change of law I'm right it should be disregarded a year ?

II've Emailed stating this i did inform them on letter maybe couldn't understand my writing I received an email saying had all information they needed and no change
