Hi, my name is loulou89! Will going back to dance affect my PIP?
I have several disabilities and learning difficulties ive danced for 23 years and ive not gone for over a year which hasn't helped my weight I have even asked my fiance to come along but he ain't interested one bit in dance unfortunately.
But I'm worried about going back if it will effect my PIP??
As I don't want it stopped I'm just trying to keep as mobile as can I get bad days and good days and horrific but I try and fight through it I have 3 amazing kids too that I love so much.

PIP is about how your conditions affect you on the majority of the days. At least 50% of the days over a 12 month period.
Whether dancing will contradict the reasons why you're claiming PIP will depend on what conditions you have and where exactly you scored those points.
For example, if you have physical conditions and you said you're unable to walk X amount of meters on the majority of days and then you started dancing then there could be issues here. Other than that it's difficult to give specific advice without know more details about your conditions and where you scored those points.

Hi @loulou89, welcome to the community. As Poppy mentioned, it's all about how your conditions affect you and how many days per week you're affected, so it's quite a personal decision to make.
I hope you're able to get back to dance a little sometime. It can make all the difference to do some exercise, especially if it's something you love to do too 😊
