I respect C4's stance on disability, but also haven't forgiven them for insisting on using THAT word in Rosie Jones' documentary despite the backlash from people who were personally affected by it and for whom it's been a tormenting word for years.
I have a lot of respect for Rosie as well, but that was bad judgement and C4 should have known better.You can't pick and choose when you stand against disability discrimination. Using the word to shock non-disabled people is meaningless if the majority of people impacted are disabled.
