Did you catch Gavin and Stacey on Christmas day?

It was my Christmas highlight! π
So happy Smithy didn't go through with that wedding. Was nearly shouting at the TV at one point.
And gutted we still didn't find out what happened on that fishing tripβ¦

Yes I did and loved it!! Very sad to see the end of this and would have loved it to continue. I did guess what was going to happen half way through the episode π

Me too @poppy123456 I wish they'd keep it going. It was a lot of mixed emotions throughout for me lol. Really didn't think much of the woman he was going to marry π

I'm a terrible person and haven't watched the series yet, but it's on my to do list! I'm guessing now would be a great time to start. π

I watched it on iPlayer yesterday. I wasn't sure if it would still have the same vibes as the original series as sometimes these things aren't the same when they come back after a break. But I was pleasantly surprised, I thought it was great! I loved how Neil the baby was still the baby even though he was 16!
And nice to wrap up some of the storylines finally. Except that fishing trip π
