Hi, my name is Cupcakes_38! Awarded LCWRA, is there a limit on how much I can earn?
Iv been working part time since July 12th 2021 .I have a mild lreaning disability and anxiety plus am a carer.
I had a work capability assessment Dec 17th and I have just been told that I do have Limited Capability for work and work related activities and I might get extra money.
Is there a limit on how much I can earn?Currently it's £518.01,it goes up every April

With the LCWRA award, you now have a work allowance.
This means the first £404 (if you claim Housing Element) or £673 (no HE) of earnings is ignored.
After the applicable amount, your UC will reduce by £0.55 for every £1 earned.
Due to the work allowance, UC may now owe you money.
If applicable, when this has been calculated a letter will be added to your Journal, and the payment sent separately.

If your UC includes carers element then this will stop because of the LCWRA element. The same person can't receive both carers element and LCWRA element at the same time.
Does your UC include Transitional Protection? If it does then this will erode with the additional LCWRA element, as well as losing the carers element.

Heya @Cupcakes_38 welcome to the community.
Congratulations on the LCWRA award, that must be a huge relief? I can see you're already receiving help from our super smart regulars, but I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. 😊1 -
I don't get housing benefit me and my son live with my parents. I am saving to move.My uc currently inculdes carers element. Idk when ill get my first lcwra payment. I am happy I'm going to be getting lcwra I wanted to be able to keep working and care for my son without pressure. Once my son turns 13 in a few times I will probably want to gain more hours in my current job

As you have a child on your claim then you would have already been receiving the work allowance. This will be £673/month because you're not claiming for help with any rent.
The work allowance means that you can receive up to £673/month of earnings without any deductions from your UC. For every £1 over that amount your UC will reduce by 55p.
As your UC includes the carers element, this will stop when the LCWRA element is includes because as I advised above, the same person can't receive both elements at the same time.
Does your UC include any Transitional Protection? You didn't answer that question and it's important.
