New style ESA

Hello i am on long term sick at the moment i worked part time as a hospital porter but because i need two hip replacements i am on long term sick .I have 140 hours holiday entitlemnet and wonder what should i do .i am on new style esa should i claim the holiday pay if so should i let dwp know .

As you're not currently working any holiday pay you receive will not affect your NsESA. You should still let them know that you've received it but your employer should also report that to HMRC.
If you're claiming Universal Credit as well then the holiday pay will be treated as earnings in the assessment period in which you receive it.

Hello at the moment i am on long term sick and after 6 months my pay halved so now get 40 hours basic pay per month .
I have holidays and my manager booked me 60 hours 13 jan to 31 jan .i just got my pay slip ending feb 25 .It just shows the usual 40 hours basic pay .i was hoping for extra for the 60 hours holiday pay am i wrong .
