PIP
Hi i'm hoping i can get some support from here. I was first given PIP 18 months ago, I had to fill the forms in again and they had to be back by the 16th of November, I'm freaking out. My father in law filled the first form in for me and he has done it before for himself. I don't think I filled the forms in very well so I may not receive PIP again this time. I'm just wondering how much longer its going to take, I don't think my nerves can take it. Thank you in advance for any help.

Unfortunately PIP reviews are taking a very long time, a year or even more on average. If they aren't able to make a decision in time, they will send you a letter confirming your award has been extended by a year.

Mine took about 11 months. There has been some members here recently that returned their form in April and recently had a decision, I have no idea if that's an indication that they are starting to deal with the backlogs.

I’ve just been through a review - from the text telling me the forms were on their way to getting a result took just over 10 months
