I am getting low rate on mobility for my son but I have seen on the web that you can get pentegon used cars instead of mobility scheme just want to understand what that mean

I'm not familiar with pentegen used cars, but to access the Motability scheme the mobility PIP award has to be Enhanced or DLA mobility award has to be Higher.
So unfortunately your son doesn't qualify.

I've just had a quick look online and it looks like Pentagon cars talk about the Motability Scheme, so they may be involved with it. But as Kimmy has rightly said, motability is only for those with enhanced rate PIP or DLA.0 -

I've just had a look at the website you mentioned. It seems like they were advertising Motability but it also seems like the information on there is rather outdated. It says £61.20/week for Enhanced mobility PIP or high rate mobility DLA. Both of those rates are way out dated because the rates now are £75.75/week.
The only way to join the scheme is through Motability but as kimmy advised, your son doesn't have the correct award.
You can of course you the money to lease a vehicle in other ways.
