Working on LCWRA
Hello,
If I wanted to work while on LCWRA, would I need to attend a meeting at the time job centre after informing them of a change of circumstance on the website? I saw somewhere that you do.

No, you will not need to attend an appointment if you start working for an employer. You only need to attend an appointment if you're self employed. If not, you just need to report a change and tell them you're working but you should only do that once you start work.

It would be self-employment. This is so annoying. I didn't need to attend a meeting doing permitted work on ESA.

That's because ESA is different. It will just be a short meeting and shouldn't last any longer than about 10 minutes. You will also need to report your earnings and expenses on the last day of each assessment period. You would do that on your journal.

Hey @nsaeon self employment sounds exciting, are you looking forward to it?
As Poppy has said, the initial appointment is nothing to worry about, they just need to find out a bit more about what you'll be doing and if you've already earned any money from it, so they can mark you down as "gainfully self employed"
You will need to attend meetings, but they're usually only every six months. It's just to see how you're getting on and to offer support if you need any. It was very useful to me when I was self employed.0
