Does anyone know the criteria regarding being able to claim free prescriptions please? My partner is on a lot of medication and has now migrated to UC. Should he pay and then try to claim back (if so can the pharmacist help with this)?
Or, is he able to show our UC statement as eligibility?

These are the criteria:
If he is eligible then he just ticks the UC box (JSA if UC is absent).
He might be asked to show his statement.
If he isn't automatically eligible, it's possible he might qualify for free prescriptions via the NHS Low Income scheme
