Query about £ gifts, and UC bank review

so I’m considering applying for UC on top of my PIP which I get at full £108.55 p/w.
I’ve just read about the bank review and now I’m worried that it’ll effect things.
my bank statement will show:
A family friend supports me with £2000 p/month.
I immediately pay off rent (£1500)
And a long standing house debt of £500 per month
So it goes up in smoke within a day.
Another family friend supports me with about £100 p/month
Plus pip = 440ish p/month
Is that going to be enough to reduce my UC or require a repayment ?

Hi,
PIP isn't considered as income for UC so can be totally disregarded.
Generally family gifts won't be considered either, though as it is a large amount in your case that could cause some issues and confusion, although I believe it should still be disregarded.
If you do claim UC, you will be able to claim Housing Element for rent costs up to the maximum LHA for your area. So your family friend could reduce their payments at that point.
If you have savings of more than £6000 then they will need to be declared separately from income.
