Are you working for an employer? If so then your employer should report your earnings to HMRC and then UC always check with those for any earnings that are reported.
You should still report the changes yourself as part of your commitments so I'd advise you to do that now.

yes a work for an Employer and they report my income ro them

Then there won't be an issue but please still go ahead and report in the increased hours.

what xan happen if a didnt

They would already know about your earnings so why not report it? I don't know if anything would happen if you didn't but part of your commitments are that you report all changes.

If your earnings are more than your work allowance then there's a 55p deduction for every £1 of earnings you receive. Your working allowance will be either £404/month if you claim for help with your rent or £673/month if you don't.
The more earnings you receive the less UC you will be entitled to.

yes thats whst happens the only thing i have not done is tell them about the hours .its so confusing some of the things i have read said only wen you reduce your hours tell them and àlso the fact that they already no what i earn and Deduct like you stated thanks

Just report the changes and then they will have a record of how many hours you work. That will then give you peace of mind. Your commitments tell you that you need to report changes and this is a change.

Hi @marky73, welcome to the community 😊 I can see your questions have already been answered but do let us know if you have anymore! If in doubt about whether you should report a change such as work hours it's often better to just report it, if it is not a change they need to know they will simply let you know.
