Good evening I run a foodbank and many who are on pip bring their letter as evidence but its always out of date can they request a new pip letter and how often.

Uprating letters are sent out around March/April time. Most places will accept a PIP letter dated within the last year. How out of date are the letters?

If they need a more recent letter they can ring PIP anytime.

That would be less than 1 year and the letter should be accepted.

That was my thoughts too. What about those that don't claim PIP and have very low income?
