    I should of explained myself better. I was sort of describing the ideal date coffee and chat nothing to heavy and was saying hopefully there is someone out there. Sorry for the confusion I should of explained myself better.

    I found that dating sites, at the tail end of my time, about 10 years ago; there were all these profiles stating a handsome man, over 6 feet, must earn over ยฃ50k. I won't mention here what other requirements were sought!

    Talk about soul destroying for a man. The woman I spoke to, and a few I met, they told me they get hundreds of messages per week, so you had to stand out to grab their attention.

    I'm willing to be that unless you are a Gerard Butler look-alike, a man will get only a handful, if any messages per week.

    Anyway, ive said all I need to say about online dating.

    Yes, and unfortunately I have been told what Kind of messages some blokes send. Seen one seen them all as they say. I don't know why they think that will impress a lassie.

    I've got 4 small dogs they are my world, it's just been me and my dogs for 25 years (not the same dogs ๐Ÿคญ). I'm 61 and I'm ok with that, never looked to date since divorce. Miss talking about things like the universe /where we come from etc ha ha. Just talk to myself and dogs and read. Quite insular really but because of illness mainly.
