Hi @Catherine21 bless you, the news circulating isn't helping at all. Have you thought anymore about contacting your GP? I'm just thinking they might be able to offer you something to help when you're feeling overwhelmed.

Please look after yourself and take a little break from the media if it's too much. 💛

That's good, I'm pleased you've got a good Doctor and you've been referred. I like the sound of your bed destruction therapy in the meantime though!

Also, @Catherine21 if you are googling stuff about benefits/economy/ all the things you worry about - remember the algorithms will send you more and more gloomy news which is very anxiety making!

I agree with Holly, take a break from the media. If you know how to delete your cookies, site data etc (or have some to do that for you) then re set your searches to positive stuff.

** Do not delete anything if you are not sure as you could lose important stuff **

If you can focus on what is actually going on in your very local community, you will likely find that nothing bad is happening at all and most people you actually meet in person are really nice. Without the media, we really would not know about all this worrying stuff.

Remember too that the media contains a lot of speculation and opinion. Things that go on at National and World level are for smarter brains than ours to worry about. Just focus on your own home, close family, friends and immediate neighbours. And only google happy things!

    Take care
