Hi there @Emdara, welcome to the Scope online community 🙂 I hope you're feeling okay today. I know getting a diagnosis can sometimes be a confusing and worrying time. I remember I wasn't told much when I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and did have to do a lot of research and reading myself. I think it's really a shame because just a little bit of information sharing can help someone understand the condition they now know they have. It's better to know than to be potentially ignorant of the condition and what you may have to look out for, or what you can do to minimise the effect it has on your life.
The NHS Inform Scotland site has a pretty good brief explanation here: Functional neurological disorder (FND) | NHS inform | NHS inform
I know you already have your diagnosis, but the page goes through possible symptoms, diagnosis, possible treatments to help and also organisations you can find support or further information.
I hope this helps a little and I do hope you are having a good weekend so far.
