Wy doesn't post office accept statement of entitlement?

why does the post office don’t accept your statement of entitlement? waited 5 days to get not only 1 letter but 2 the same! now i’ll have to wait til monday to ring DWP again! totally confused as i need to drive my new car on weds. coming . thank you

    Hi there,,

    was a bit of a rant there!! had to Tax the car (£133.88 for six months) online, just to wait for a expention(bad spelling) letter, and of course wait on a Q for a advisor to talk to from PIP DWP.

    Would i be able to get money back after i EVENTUALLY register the car disabled?

    Hi @Bri01, welcome to the community 😊 Is this about a car that is adapted to yourself and not a motability vehicle?

    thank m8,

    this is ref my OWN new car, my old one already has the adaptions fitted. i get the Lolipop system fitted wednesday, hence i want to register it for the disable tax. Alas, only way to drive it is tax it 6 months. and wait for PIP DWP send the certificate & go to the Post office and get it registered. Would i can a refund after registing it? thanks ~Bri
