    Hi I am also profoundly deaf suffer with tinitus and vertigo that causes balance problems to the point I have to go to bed until it passes. this can last from 1hour to days so you can imagine the impact it has on my life applied gor pip In October and scored 0 points on everything

    @GraceandConnie2020 so sorry to hear this.Its absolutely devastating isn't it?.I also got turned down for pip.You are not alone and will find support on here inparticularly if you are going to do a M.R which us what I've done.Also then the possibility of then going on to a tribunal

    I got 0 points on my pip review assessment and iv also lost my mandatory appeal application IV just give up I don't agree on how someone who doesn't no you can make a decision on your illness can't understand why they can't take time to read Ur doctors record s with all the evidence they need

    It's not unusual for the MR decision not to change because the majority of them don't. The stats suggest only about 24% of MR decisions change at that stage. More often that not the MR decision is a copy and paste of the original decision.

    There's much more chance of success at Tribunal stage providing you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing and then there's about 66% chance of success.

    It's also your responsibility to provide the evidence to support your claim and not their responsibility to request medical records.

    I no just I just think there doing things wrong by making there decision s on ppl who are generally not well

    This is why the tribunal appeal stage is there. It is then decided not by the DWP but by a tribunal with a tribunal judge and medical professionals. There you get a chance to give your evidence directly to them. I know the DWP make it very disheartening, but tribunal appeals are generally far more successful than MRs.
