Does anyone know if you can change your universal credit payment date? I normally get paid on the 11th of every month,but I ideally want it on the 28th so then I can put my money together with my mum.

Im moving house soon and I want to contribute towards my families rent so it wouldn't make sense nor be ideal for me to be paid weeks before she does.

    I don't believe you can change your UC payment date.

    You can ask for an Alternative Payment Arrangement, so that your payment is split in two.

    You would get half on your normal date, then half 14-16 days later.

    It might be easier to just put the money aside so when your mum is paid the money is there ready and waiting.
