WCA

I returned my WCA form on time on the 28th May 2024. I have heard absolutely nothing since. I did chance it up a couple of weeks later and they said “we will contact you if there are any issues”. That’s the last I’ve heard about it. Is that normal? It seems an awfully long time.

also, I have just seen that I should have accepted some commitments on 11th Jan, I didn’t have a single notification about this and I’ve not had a work coach appointment since May last year either. The system very rarely asks me to accept new commitments and never notifies me of anything. I’ve just accepted them and left a message on my journal saying I had no idea there were any to accept, hoping they don’t sanction us.

Is this a review of an existing claim or a first time work capability assessment? Reviews tend to take longer than new claims. Hopefully, you're not waiting too much longer.

I was moved from esa to universal credit in 2018(ish). When I was on esa I had a capability assessment but since moving to universal credit I’ve never had one. So I’m not sure if it’s counted as a review or not.

It will be a review, which explains why it's taking so long. Do you have LCW or LCWRA? I'm guessing LCW because for the majority of people that have LCWRA reviews are suspended.
